Defending and Enhancing Social Security — Public presentation at the Park Slope Food Coop (open to the public)

One of the nation’s best anti-poverty programs is under attack by those who would make us work ‘til we drop. We need to understand the fallacies in the opponents’ arguments and work to build a movement to make Americans’ retirements truly secure. Brent Kramer has been a Food Coop member for over thirty years. He teaches economics at Borough of Manhattan Community College, and is a Research Associate at the Fiscal Policy Institute in New York.
