Subject: [URPE] From an Economics student

My name is Gonzalo Gil and I recently concluded my undergraduate work in economics at the University of Missouri Kansas City. I am writing, because I am currently staying in Venezuela working on a monograph about the causes of the current financial crisis. I am currently using the book "Contours of Descent" in order to have the proper explanatory framework for the 90's economy. I would like your opinion on the following: I would like to know if it is at all possible for you to share with me authors, books, or, articles that might have analyzed the evolution of the American economy during the Reagan years in a similar way in which Dr. Robert Pollin analyzed the Clinton period. I have recently discovered a book entitled "Stagnation and the Financial Explosion" by Sweezy and Magdoff . I am unaware of the rest of the literature so any input will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Gonzalo I. Gil.
