[URPE] URPE blog

Just to remind everyone that URPE has a blog
(http://urpe.wordpress.com/) and any URPE member can post on it.
People can only post there or cross post the entries to their own
personal blogs, or simply have their personal blogs listed in the
blogroll.

To join, e-mail me at urpe.mail at gmail.com and let me know you wish to
join the blog as a contributor.  I'll then reply with an invitation
for you to join the blog.  The invitation has links and detailed
instructions on how to create your WordPress account and start
blogging.

I must say that, for months, the URPE blog has remained rather
stagnant, as very few people have posted entries.  In spite of that, I
see that a significant number of readers check the blog out daily!
Imagine what the readership would be if the content were updated more
frequently and more people got engaged in discussions on it.

I understand that some people like to keep the URPE listserv free of
discussion, limited to announcements only.  Other people like the idea
of a forum where URPE members can present their ideas to the broader
public and engage in debate.  The blog may be more conducive to the
latter.

Again, any URPE member will be welcomed as a contributor.
