[URPE] [NYC] The Brecht @ the Global Studies Association Conference

  The 2008 Global Studies Conference on Nationalism and Globalization in

Conflict in Transition will take place from Friday June 6 through Sunday June 8 
at the downtown Manhattan campus of Pace University - 1 Pace Plaza 
near the Brooklyn Bridge.

 The Brecht Forum is co-sponsoring two panels at the Conference:

"Building Socialism in an Era of Capitalist Globalization" with Brecht Co-Chair Merle Ratner
and Ngo Thanh Nhan 
2:45-4:15 on Friday June 6. Room W627

"Organizing Migrant Workers" with Bill Fletcher Jr, Bhairavi Desai, 
and Immanuel Ness. 
3:45-5:30 PM on Saturday June 7.  Room W627

There are also many other interesting panels! 

A donation of $5 is requested for each session attended by those who
are not registered for the conference.
