	Buffalo State College invites applications for a full-time,
tenure track position in the Department of Economics and Finance,
beginning September 2007. Primary teaching responsibilities are in the
fields of applied microeconomics and an MA-level cost-benefit analysis
course.  Preference is for candidates who show evidence of high-quality
teaching, scholarship, and interest in undergraduate and graduate
student research. Potential for teaching statistics and econometrics
will also be considered.  Ph.D. (must be completed by August 1, 2007) in
economics or finance with a concentration in micro economics is
required. The Department has a tradition of openness to alternative

	Applicant must submit a cover letter (to include a statement of
teaching philosophy and research interests), curriculum vitae, evidence
of teaching competency, sample of written work, and three letters of
reference to Professor Alex Ratkowski, Chair Search Committee,
Department of Economics and Finance, 1300 Elmwood Ave. Buffalo State
College, Buffalo NY, 14222.
