Si señor.

Esta O'Grady es de cuarta, a mi a veces me parece que es pariente de la 
Rice, si no es que le escribe los libretos, con un tono mas "Wall Street".
Ni que hablar de sus opiniones anteriores con respecto a temas financieros.
Hay que leer su currículum para entender bien a esta mina que siemrpe viene 
"por delante" alisando el camino por el que pasará "la tropa de departamento 
de estado" después.

Una de sus frases célebres: ¡¡¡Hay que cortarles el oxígeno!!! (a los 
argentinos..., regamba la chabona)

Ahora ha entrado en la moda de la demonización de los gobiernos del Cono 
Sur, asimilándolos al antagonista en "su" supuesta guerra contra el 
terrorismo internacional.
Como ya se señalara aquí mismo, a los ex-guerrilleros Genoíno, Dirceu y 
compañía, ya les han empezado a sacar el historial "terrorista" (?) de los 
'60/'70 y han sido apartados recientemente de sus funciones en el PT y en el 
propio gobierno a través de una operación de inteligencia de gran escala.

De hecho hubo hasta una denuncia infundada de que las FARC habrían 
financiado al PT!!! Y ahora dicen que el PT esta lleno de guita!!! De 
empresarios... Sin mas comentarios.

Ni que hablar de los pusilánimes de SEPRIN, que montados en la cresta de la 
ola, dicen que hasta "Question Latinoamerica" y los inquilinos del Bauen 
Hotel, al igual que varios de los miembros de esta lista (sino toda la lista 
"de Gorojosky"), son financiados por las FARC. Esto dicho tan alegremente, y 
en esta coyuntura, merecería una respuesta judicial severa, si alguno 
tuviera un mango para pagarse un juicio... Imagínense lo que no hace este 
tipo de información en las mentes afiebradas y culposas de la aún existente 
mano de obra desocupada... Todo porque un par de imbéciles se deciden a 
jugar a los espías. Tremendo. Después algunos todavía hablan de que esta 
gente necesita "excusas" a la hora de actuar contra los pueblos...

En realidad todo se resume a la usurpación efectiva de los recursos 
naturales (de toda índole) que EEUU ha considerado como prioridad máxima y 
cuya "posesión" viene siendo cuestionada de hecho por la inmensa mayoría de 
los gobiernos latinoamericanos. Esto no se reduce al gas Boliviano y al 
petróleo Venezolano sino que involucra también, en lo que Anastacia es 
especialista, es decir: los mercados. Con esto se garantizan que todo el 
producto del trabajo colectivo de las naciones -la riqueza generada- sea 
transferido a "Wall Street", inviabiulizando cualquier proyecto autónomo y 
eternizando la dependecia. (Para mas datos leer los proyectos de déficit 
cero en Brasil...)

Al no poder imponer el ALCA muchos proyectos a mediano y largo plazo corren 
riesgo. Veamos un ejemplo: Una de las cláusulas de dicho tratado de libre 
comercio establecería privilegios a los ciudadanos norteamericanos que 
hicieran inversiones en la región, ya que podrían optar por juzgados de su 
propia jurisdicción (Con la obvia pérdida de soberanía). Imaginemos que 
sucedería entonces en un conflicto con Thomas Tomkins (O será testaferro de 
la familia Braun?)  por la Estancia Monte León... Frente a estas 
proyecciones los conflictos de la privatizadas en el tribunal arbitral del 
CIADI son un poroto...

Entonces, ante el aparente fracaso (Miami) de dicho proyecto (ALCA) las 
opciones se han divido en dos:
1° Avanzar con TLC bilaterales (Como el de Chile...) y hasta con bloques de 
minipaíses desesperados económicamente y con gobiernos manipulables (CAFTA - 
Centro América).
2° Ampliar el "Plan Colombia" (Y su nueva versión, el "Patriota"...) a un 
conjunto de sub-planes cuyo teatro de operaciones sería toda LA, con 
establecimiento de zonas de conflicto determinadas por la presencia de:
2.1 Actividades Comerciales y Finacieras destinadas a sustentar el 
Terrorismo Internacional
2.2 Actividades Bancarias y Financieras destinadas a blanquear el dinero del 
narcotráfico.
2.3 Plantaciones y Laboratorios de Bandas de narcotraficantes
2.4 Actividades Terroristas (Bases de entrenamiento, etc.)

A éste último efecto se destinan los esfuerzos para obtener la sanción de 
leyes anti-terrorismo y la inmunidad de los soldados norteamercanos en el 
caso de que sean "convocados" para hacer cumplir esas leyes. En idéntica 
dirección operó el gobierno de EEUU para obtener la "custodia de la 
democracia" ante la OEA.
En todos los casos el denominador común es la búsqueda de "normas" 
internacionales que ante una "eventualidad" legitimen la intrevención 
directa.

Es en éste último sentido que opera la O'Grady, siempre leal a sus antiguos 
patrones, "plantando" -conjuntamente con sus socios vernáculos: los medios 
oligárquicos, es decir, casi todos los medios- la idea de una amenaza 
"terrorista" en el seno de los gobiernos que se muestran mínimamente 
renuentes a hacerles de lacayos.

En síntesis, están inventando del Osama Bin Laden de las pampas...

[Mary Anastasia O'Grady, editorialista del Wall Street Journal, se
pregunta si  Argentina es de fiar a la hora de "combatir el terrorismo"
y cree haber hallado la respuesta. La periodista se apoya en sendas
editoriales de Ambito Financiero y La Nación sobre el pedido de
extradición de Sergio Galvarino Apablaza por parte de la justicia chilena.

O'Grady parafrasea la pregunta que se hace Ambito Financiero: "Se está
convirtiendo Argentina en un "santuario nacional para terroristas
extranjeros". La periodista sugiere que esa es una "posibilidad que
alarma a más de unos pocos argentinos estos días", y que también debería
alarmar al gobierno de EEUU, puesto que "Argentina cada vez se parece
más a una Arabia Saudita de Sudamerica antes del 11 de Septiembre."

Las evidencias de O'Grady son las siguientes: (1) el rechazo del pedido
de extradición de Apablaza; (2) la renuencia del gobierno de Kirchner a
juzgar a los "terroristas" de Montoneros y del ERP (según O'Grady,
Montoneros y ERP empleaban los mismos métodos observados en los
recientes atentados en Londres); (3) la presencia de ex-Montoneros en la
propia administración nacional; (4) el apoyo de Kirchner a Hebe de
Bonafini; (5) la experiencia argentina de asilar a Nazis; (6) los
atentados a la Embajada de Israel y la Amia y su fallida investigación;
(7) la renuencia de Kirchner a "condenar a Chávez pese a que en 1994 el
chico malo venezolano atacó verbalmente a la comunidad judía
[venezolana, suponemos] y aprobó un "raid" [¿ataque, incursión,
irrupción?] en un día escolar judío en Caracas [???]".

O'Grady concluye su ataque contra el gobierno argentino refiriendo
nuevamente el ejemplo de Arabia Saudita.

Don't Count on Argentina to Help Fight Terror

Is Argentina becoming a "national sanctuary for foreign terrorists?"
That's the question posed on the Argentine Web site Ambitoweb.com this
week. As suggested by the provocative commentary, it's a possibility
that alarms more than a few Argentines these days.

It is also a question worth the attention of U.S. policy makers. More
and more, Argentina is looking like the pre-9/11 Saudi Arabia of South
America. While official engagements between the U.S. and Argentina are
cordial, what is being cultivated on the Southern Cone home turf hardly
qualifies Argentina as an ally in the war on terror. Having been served
the fruits of Saudi double talk four years ago, the U.S. would be well
advised to be twice shy.

The concern raised on Ambitoweb.com came on the heels of a decision by
an Argentine judge to reject Chile's request to extradite Sergio
Galvarino Apablaza. Otherwise known by the nom de guerre Commandante
Salvador, the Chilean is a former leader of a left-wing extremist group
called the Manuel Rodriguez Patriotic Front. He stands accused of the
assassination of Chilean Senator Jaime Guzman in 1991 and the kidnapping
of Cristian Edwards, the son of the owner of Chile's El Mercurio newspaper.

The Chilean government of Socialist Ricardo Lagos is hardly a right-
wing junta out to nail political enemies, particularly anyone of Mr.
Apablaza's persuasion. Mr. Lagos is famous for once having challenged
Gen. Augusto Pinochet publicly to step aside. Nevertheless, according to
Ambito, the Argentine judge who rejected the extradition request "took
the view that the crimes attributed to Mr. Apablaza were political in
nature" and ordered his immediate release.

On Wednesday, Mr. Apablaza appeared at the headquarters of an Argentine
human rights group in Buenos Aires, proclaiming that his only regret is
"not having done more to cut short the [Pinochet] tyranny."

That sounds brave until you take note of the fact that Guzman was
assassinated long after Gen. Pinochet had voluntarily handed power over
to an elected civilian government. His killer obviously had some goal in
mind other than the liberation of the Chilean people. Not surprisingly,
Chile's Communist Party celebrated the Argentine decision. Commandante
Salvador maintains his innocence and on Thursday asked the U.N. for
political refugee status.

Sadly, the federal court decision to protect a wanted Chilean terrorist
is not an isolated event but rather part of an ethos now prevailing at
high levels in Argentine politics and jurisprudence. In May the Supreme
Court rejected the extradition of an alleged terrorist belonging to the
Spanish Basque group known as ETA, which has claimed more than 850 lives
since 1968. Jesús Maria Lariz Iriondo stands accused of a 1984 car
bombing in Eibar. Yet the court ruled that the terrorist act attributed
to him is not a crime against humanity. Therefore the statute of
limitations applies and he cannot be held accountable.

In an editorial titled "Crimes Against Humanity," yesterday's La Nacion
newspaper pointed out that this is directly contrary to the 1996 U.N.
resolution which defines crimes against humanity as "criminal acts with
political ends committed or planned in order to provoke a state of
terror among the population in general or a specific group."

A literal reading of the U.N. resolution is however inconvenient for the
Kirchner government. The Argentine terrorists known as "Montoneros,"
along with the Castro-backed ERP, committed ETA-like atrocities against
innocents for a decade, before and during the 1976 military government
takeover, racking up over 1,500 victims. Today, Argentina allows many
known Montoneros to go about Argentina with impunity. Some are even in
government. This, of course, gets to the heart of the problem for the
Kirchner set: How can ETA or Chilean terrorists be prosecuted while
former Montoneros enjoy complete freedom?

Mr. Kirchner's base is a hard-left, anti-American sect and in the past
two years he has moved swiftly to pack the Argentine high court with
similarly-inclined judges. In the name of justice the court recently
lifted the amnesty granted to the military in 1986 and 1987 for its
crimes during the "dirty war." But it has said nothing about prosecuting
former Montonero and ERP terrorists who practiced the kind of tactics
observed in London yesterday morning until they were put down by the
military takeover.

Today Argentina has less in common with serious countries like Chile and
more in common with Nicaragua, which is again under the sway of
Sandinistas. Nicaraguan judges in May refused to extradite Alessio
Casimirri to Italy to stand trial for the 1978 kidnapping and murder of
former Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro.

To understand the sympathies of the Kirchner government it is worth
turning attention to one of its most important political supporters,
Hebe de Bonafini of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, who celebrated
9/11. Buenos Aires press reports say that she lobbied hard for political
asylum for Mr. Lariz Iriondo. Last month she was in Havana with Fidel,
Hugo Chávez and Salvadoran guerrilla Shafik Handel to complain that the
U.S. has not extradited anti-Castroite Luis Posada Carriles to the Cuban
province of Venezuela to be tried on terrorism charges.

Argentina has a history of harboring the world's darkest figures,
including Nazi fugitives after World War II. The Iranian and Syrian
sponsored Hezbollah is widely suspected of orchestrating the Buenos
Aires bombing of the Israeli Embassy in 1992 and the Jewish community
center in 1994. No one was ever brought to justice in those horrific
events. Mr. Kirchner claims to be investigating those attacks again, but
11 years leaves a rather cold trail.

Despite that promise, Mr. Kirchner refuses to condemn Chávez even though
in 1994 the Venezuelan bad boy verbally attacked the country's Jewish
community and approved a raid on a Jewish day school in Caracas.
According to a U.S. State Department Web site, in 2004 printed anti-
Semitic leaflets were "available to the public in an Interior and
Justice Ministry office waiting room."

When Secretary of State Condi Rice met with the Argentine foreign
minister in April, civil rights in Venezuela was on the agenda. But an
Argentine foreign ministry spokesman said that instead the conversation
centered on what Argentina wants: more handouts from the IMF, presumably
to keep the Kirchner base supplied with American flags to burn. The U.S.
ought to have learned more from the Saudi experience.
