It's undoubtable that such killings are clearly terrorism -- they fit the
classic definition of the word.

But in terms of the US, I feel a different approach needs to be taken to
counteract such anti-abortion people. The standard response is to call in the
authorities to do something.

To me, encouraging the US state to thwart these thugs is the wrong
approach. The last think we in the US need is to feed the US gov't more
propaganda and domestic anti-terrorism "food." That will surely come back to
haunt the larger left in the US as that anti-terrorism mindset is perverted
in new ways we can barely imagine.

What's the solution? To reenergize the pro-choice movement. Think back to
Obama talking at Notre Dame and the (small) anti-abortion protests there. Why
wasn't there counter/pro-choice people in action? Sure, the corporate mass
media may have ignored them, but as I recall, there were simply no pro-choice
protesters/supporters in action.

Whatever the tactic used, to call for the state to crack down on "domestic
terrorism" is a tactic that will be eventually used not primarily against
right-wing groups, but against radicals on the left side of the spectrum.
