The Japanese Communist Party's English-language Web site's
international section <http://www.jcp.or.jp/english/#International>
got nothing to say about Iran and Honduras, though weighing in on
North Korea (against its nuclear test) and commenting "On Russia’s
Violation of National Sovereignty of Georgia," exhibiting the party's
East Asian provincialism. However, the home page of the Akahata Web
site <http://www.jcp.or.jp/akahata/> today features an excellent
report on the MERCOSUR denunciation of the Honduran coup and the
organization's refusal to recognize the coup regime:

And the coverage of Honduras before it has been very good, too.
Nothing on "United for Iran" protests yesterday, pro or con. The
previous Iran coverage before, during, and after the elections stuck
to news, relying upon secondary sources (since its correspondent is
reporting from Cairo), without issuing an editorial:
