   A nice way of summarizing Obama, but those people of good intentions seem 
to be clueless.

   Obama serves the same diverse class of people that Bush does -- the same 
people who fund and control both the Democrats and the Republicans. There is 
no way Obama would have survived the media bashing of the primaries if he was 
a threat to that class and the status quo. If he was a threat or if he were 
determined to be sincere about his rhetoric, the corporate mass media would 
have "Deaned" him.

   Now in power, Obama is fully engaged with the story line that the ruling 
class and corporate mass media puts out, e.g. we're in a global war on terror 
that threatens our freedoms, Osama did 9/11, we have to study global warming 
more and have plenty of time, the most important thing for the US is to keep 
our businesses humming, etc., etc. ad nauseum.
