This, of course, is useful for the GLTB struggle.

But, taken in a deeper sense, it is astonishing.

So that what matters is not whether people can or can not be happy in
matters that should remain in the most personal and private domain.
No. What matters is that an opportunity to allow people to be happy
"can create jobs".

It is reification taken to its highest degree.
