Interestingly, I had yesterday, for the first time in a good while, a strong Seattle feeling -- a feeling from a very old and extremely important Time. Perhaps the atypical fog outside, rather rare in Southeastern Idaho, had something to do with it. But then this morning, I received a good letter from a university student in the Canadian West. He was interested in a major figure of the Old I.W.W. And that, for me, struck a great note of personal resonance:
