[R-G] Negative verdict on the Green Revolution

   This is one of the best articles to be posted into the list in a long 
time -- a thoroughly "green" angle, one that turns conventional 
agricultural  "wisdom" on its head and is supported by hard science and 
economics.

   IMHO, the only drawback was that the article didn't touch on the moneyed 
corporate/class interests that push chemical use in agriculture, but that's a 
minor nit compared to the overall article.  Kudos to Sid for posting it.
