They might start by weeding out their sub-prime office corps--a
product of America's totally sub-prime university system (since most
officers are ROTC sub-prime wonders).

The US military has always been full of marginal literates. Most can't
and won't use the instruction manuals.

And what a financial deal the US military offers the militarists of
the US government: it delivers about 250 billion dollars of lethal
firepower for about 1 trillion dollars a year. No wonder the sub-prime
parasitic 'capitalists'  (and their 20 million minions) who depend on
federal contracts are rallying around John Wayne the Insane McCain.
