   I don't think you're watching the US media. :-) (Remember, CNN Int'l is a 
very different beast compared to the domestic US CNN.) The US media basically 
echos the sentiments of the Swedish diplomat who compared South Ossetians 
having Russian passports to Nazi Germany issuing German passports to 
the "Sudeten Germans" of Czechoslovakia. I don't see much of any sympathy for 
the Ossetians, though the US corporate media *abounds* with stories about the 
tragedies of ordinary Georgians suffering under the "Russian invasion".
