[R-G] With Islamophobia against Homophobia?

I shouldn't be surprised if both the terms 'islamo-phobia' and
'islamo-fascism' were both originated in France in the 1970s. English
still retains a very French-like lexicon, and even straight borrowings
can look like the homegrown things.

What the article describes, unfortunately, makes sense. N. Europe
displaces its traditional Christian anti-semitism (that is, European
Christianity's hatred of European Judaism). It displaces it onto
Islam. It's more a matter of recycling old priorities.

But the post-war model is different because N. Europe then goes on,
under US hegemony and UK influence, to materially support a European
colony of Zionism in Palestine.

Of course old hatreds get recycled too--the Roman Catholic vs. E.
Orthodox one, the Protestant North's disdain for Catholicism. But the
Zionist colony in the Levantine help keep the dominant Europeans
hating as one.
