[R-G] Who's Radioactive Dirty Bomb are we talking about?

Here is a copy of a letter I have sent to several Canadian newspapers and
the CBC etc. in response to the costs of a "dirty bomb" cleanup in Toronto.

Needless to say not one newspaper replied or published my letter...

----------------------------------------

So the costs to clean up a radioactive "dirty bomb" exploded in Toronto by,
according to Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day, terrorists that have "a
particular fascination with explosives, and radioactive explosives" would
cost over $25 billion dollars to clean up. And this for only a couple of
ounces of radioactive material.

When one considers the horrors of such an event, one can only look with
revulsion upon the moral depravity of those who would do such a thing.

Unfortunately, those who would do such things are our American and British
allies who have, over the last fifteen years, dispersed hundreds of metric
tonnes of microfine radioactive dust throughout Iraq, parts of Afghanistan
and the Balkans. This radioactive dust, which will remain deadly for
millions of years, is produced by depleted uranium munitions upon impact
with their targets, and has led to thousands of Iraqi women giving birth to
babies with horrible deformities - many babies being born "inside out" or
with missing brains or horribly deformed bodies.

When manufactured and before use, these depleted uranium munitions are
treated as radioactive, handled by special equipment and soldiers must wear
hazmat suits.Photographs of these atrocities are readily available on the
internet, but apparently not to Mr. Day, who only believes that "An event
like that could happen."

Wake up Mr. Day, we can see quite clearly who these terrorists are - who are
fascinated with "explosives, and radioactive explosives". Canadian Security
Intelligence Services tells us that a dirty bomb assault is "overdue." Why
is it that I am not in the least surprised.
