About the Program 

Ben Kiernan, founding director of the Genocide Studies project at Yale
University documents a global history of genocide.  Mr. Kiernan's study is
divided into three parts, Early Imperial Expansion, Settler Colonialism and
Twentieth-Century Genocides.  Ben Kiernan discusses his book at the Harvard
Book Store in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

About the Author 

Ben Kiernan is a history professor at Yale University as well as the
founding director of the Genocide Studies Program. 

He is the author of numerous books, including "The Pol Pot Regime" and "How
Pol Pot Came to Power."
