hi comrades:
I emailed james kuntsler (the long emergency) a simple question, which
I had in fact asked here. He made the point in his book very briefly
that solar power (not passive solar) relied on a fossil fuel platform.
I got back this charming answer.
I'm assuming that these "advanced metallurgy and fabrication
techniques" are or must be or for the near future are based on a ff
platform?
I politely asked kuntsler (whose email is made public on his blog) this
question but expect either no answer or a cranky uninformative reply.
