I don't think it an important article at all. This view of Israel as
wagging the yankee tail is a very close relative of conspiracism, with a
dash of anti-semitism thrown in. And like conspiracism all it does is
interfere with serious opposition to Zionism and to U.S. policy in the
mideast. I have my differences with Chomsky, but he is absolutely right
on this. I'm sorry to see Blankfort's stuff being given circulation on
the left.
