[R-G] Something Rotten in Ohio - Gore Vidal

Good old Gore....my favourite American novelist, and one of the few who is
willing to see what has occured in the "great republic".

This story does not include the fact that in 11 other states, the final vote
varied from the exit polls by around five percent, or fifty times the
accepted variance...
that in each of the dozen such states the beneficiary of the statistical
"miracle" was Bush.....
that each of these states relied on computer tabulation of the vote.

The first time in the history of the US that there were such variances was
2002, in, wait for it, Florida.

And yet we still have list members(Honourable men!) who wish to speak of
elections.

I, for one, would like to hear why.
