giant paper crane on the park strip downtown, August 5th for August 6th.
Whether the crane project comes together or not, we will float candles on
Westchester Lagoon -- even though it is difficult to find any dark hours

summer for them to be visible. Both go under the title "Hiroshima
Observance".

Brief Description of Event: The Shadow Project is political art, by the
people, for the world where people all over the world will make chalk
shadows on the streets of our cities, remembering the human shadows burnt
