If she were making a living off of it, that would be one thing. However,
such a poet-- left wing radical-- has never been able to be a base of
support so far as I know. All that is in such a case would be the control
and dissemination of information.
Copyright, for example, is what has absolutely decimated the creative
potential of the internet. Those who, on the other hand, do not ask or
attempt to control a programming system are the ones who have been the
most successful in building a community that can help defeat monopoly on
our rights to communicate-- far more important than the right to own
ideas. The same is true of our right to information; unless one is making
an argument that survival is involved, keep the property dynamic
completetly away from all words-- including my own. I borrow the alphabet
anyhow.
All ideas are stolen in such a world as we live in.
