Israel to raze hundreds of houses in Rafah

The Palestinian Authority has described Israel's plan to raze hundreds of 
houses in Gaza as a "major catastrophe", and urged the international 
community to prevent the demolitions.

Palestinian negotiations minister Saeb Erakat said on Friday that the 
impending demolitions in Rafah would be devastating for the Palestinian people.
