This particular citation you offer, it seems to me, shows that 
whatever the system, which I agree is imperialist, the Clinton White 
House was able to overcome misgivings from an imperialist point of 
view and put Aristide back in place. 

Again, I'm not saying that Clinton is my ideal socialist. In fact, 
having even written "socialist" in the same sentence as "Clinton" the 
absurdity is plain. All I am saying is that, should Kerry turn out to 
be like Clinton policywise, which is likely, we could do a lot worse. 
Not all hegemonic imperialists are alike.

Yes, their system needs to be replaced but I don't see the means to 
do so in the next election, so I prefer the lesser evil. Got a better 
idea? I'm all ears.
