[R-G] Questions about organic gardening

I know this is not a forum specifically for organic gardening, but I think 
small scale organic gardening is a revolutionary concept. With that in mind, 
I got a few questions. I have heard that if you put human hair around the 
cercumfrance of your garden, you will keep the deer away. Will that work also 
for other animals? Racoons don't seemed to be bothered by the sent of humans 
and they reakky like cucumbers, how can I protect my cucumbers from racoons 
and other small animals without hurting the animals? We have an apple tree 
that produces lots of apple. The problem is all the apples have wormholes in 
them. what organic solution can I spray on my apples to protect them from 
worms?
