My gods- someone who remembers both Joyce and Junior!
Well, fundamental change is change at the fundamental level of course, ie: 
the constitutional level.
I proposed constitutional politics- not trivializing tory or progressive 
propositions but constitutional initiatives that would go to the point of 
power: for instance,  returning corporations to the republican governance 
of the early Republic, or redesigning the rules of property, or even 
reducing the majesty of the presidency to a level that wouldn't astound old 
Filmer.
