If people want to debate Leninism vs. Anarchism, that's their perogative-- it is
not going to happen here.

The reason for this is simple: We are (and this is a tragedy) a long way from
where the debate has any real meat on it in the bulk of the world. These kinds
of arguments, based on things that we hold deep within our hearts and minds, are
not a guide to action but a substitute for action for one-- as well, these
debates will inevitably raise the temperature on this  list to the point that
does indeed vapourise planes.

Further, Mr. Seattle has spent much time being a gerneal nuisance and disrupting
many lists in the past, and both he and the list should be clearly warned that
will not be tolerated. We tolerate all views anti-capitalist and
pro-environment, and none are to be called into question with labels at the
forefront.

In other words, the simple fact is: I don't trust Ben's desire to work with all
of us, but rather he wants to shove his (bad) version of "Leninism" on us. If he
can handle my disdain and doesn't choose to take a scriptural approach to our
listmembers about their sins, he'll be left alone. Michael Pugliese is a major
pain most times he's on the net, a first rate red baiter, but he behaves himself
here and he has been left alone and remains welcome. So there is hope for Mr
Seattle.
