Where do today's Palestinians come from?

Our data is based on statistics and surveys conducted by the Turks during
the Ottoman Empire period, and, thereafter, by the English. They show that
only 20% of today's Palestinians are descendants of the Arabs who
populated this territory prior to the Jewish immigration. The remaining
80% were immigrants attracted by the economic boom spearheaded in the area
by the Jewish immigrants.
