Thanks for this, Sid... one of my favourite songs in history. This past summer I
was travelling alone in Ottawa when by chance, I met up with a few people
including a man I had briefly known through work some years prior. I recall,
after a couple of rounds, having an opportunity to sing that one-- one of the
greatest expressions of working class suffering I have heard. Truly a beautiful
masterpiece, almost every Aussie you'll come across can recite it (and just
might do it).
