Not if Hades were an imperialist country. This is why so many "leftists" are
duped by the propaganda effort which presents relatively large and unifying
partialities in the Third World as "sub-imperialisms". Nasser was "imperialist"
when he attempted the United Arab Republic with Syria and Irak, and of course
his war in Yemen was a "colonial" war. The Serbian government was "sub-
imperialist" in trying to keep Yugoslavia stitched together. The Argentineans
were "sub-imperialists" when they tried to establish agreements with Brazil,
Bolivia or Chile during the late 40s and early 50s, and so are the Brazilians
today when they defend the Mercosur!
It is twice as important, then, to be ears up as to the actual character of the
situations at stake.
