The point is not context, its class, its power, its social relations.

Black people use the word, that's one thing.  White people use the word, 
it's a whole other thing.  There are historical relations of power in the 
use of the word.

Tell you what: take Mr. Smith's down home Yankee racist with his n-word and 
put him on 125th St. and Lexington in NYC.   Let's see what he says in that 
context.  Bet he wouldn't dare utter his n word.  That's the context where 
he, Mr. Seafaring Yankee, doesn't hold the power.

And if he is that stupid, let's watch the response.  I know I'll be watching 
it with pleasure as he gets stomped.  In that context.
