Not sorry to say I don't buy any of our bloke Cloke's "naturalism," 
biological basis for his analysis of hierarchy and leadership. As for 
gregariousness,  Twitter's success is not an expression of  a biological 
need, based on a use value, but on its production as a commodity -- which is 
exactly what hierarchies are based on-- the necessity of encasing 
"production" in property, in exchange.

As for prison-- bad example for the old hierarchy argument there Cloke--  
child molesters, murderers-- since child molesters are often shunned, if not 
attacked, in prison.  Prison hierarchies again are social, commercial 
networks; controlling flows of funds, drugs, etc.
