Well of course, objectively speaking the USA could very well be behind the coup attempt.  Obama and Clinton both could have been outmanuevered  by the long established CIA/Military network operating on the ground in Honduran territory, or they could have given the green light with the understanding that diplomatically they had to say the very opposite.  

I tend to think the former. This could be Obama's JFK-Bay of Pigs moment.  No doubt the good old boys on the ground have no small amount of contempt for their african-american president and their female secretary of state. Poor Obama. Outmanuevered both by the CIA and the ALBA contingent in the OAS.
