The Ayatollah's, bazaarist revolution a real setback to imperialism?  Sure 
it was.  Jacking the price of oil right up to a level high enough to slam a 
world into recession and give the bourgeoisie enough leverage to go about 
its assault on the working class.

 If the Ayatollah didn't exist, OPEC would have had to invent him.  If OPEC 
didn't exist the bourgeoisie would have had to invent it.  As it was, OPEC 
did exist, the bourgeoisie did invent it, and the bourgeoisie played it and 
plays it like the ornate instrument it is.
