Hey Marv how's things? How would you like to be down by one run in the 7th
inning and have to face Papelbon, Nathan, and Rivera? I could see Torre, in
the NL dugout telling Manuel that the game was over.
Anyway...
The comment was meant in response to Melyn's statement that the CCP was
prepared to "go it alone" with the creation of a domestic capital, if not
capitalist, base.
So they said that, but what they've done is something completely different,
and I know I'm in a distinct minority in this, but I think China's growth
has been almost completely dependent on foreign direct investment, including
its "move up the value chain." I think China is more dependent now on
international capitalism than anytime since... hell, since anytime.
Can't believe that "the bloc of 4 classes" was anything more than window
dressing, misdirection, but if it was, what happened to the patriotic
national bourgeoisie?
