[Marxism] How Bad Will the Economy Get?

Yes, I thought of them also. They wanted a war. I don't.
When I said "unassailable" I meant international competition and
replacement by another capitalist power. I did not mean the US bourgeoisie,
or the bourgeoisie anywhere, are invulnerable to revolution. Actually,
that's the only thing to which they are, as a class, vulnerable.
I don't think the US bourgeoisie would give up an ounce its power and
privilege to a competitor without a war.
I think the only way out for the bourgeoisie is to incinerate the means of
production on an international scale. I think such destruction will
irreversibly damage the strength of US capital as 40% of US imports/exports
is "related-party" trading-- international but essentially intra-corporate
trade.
But the irrationality of conducting a war against "your other half" won't
deflect the bourgeoisie from seeing in war the good old fashioned way of
making money-- by spilling everybody else's blood.

What do you exactly mean by the last sentence above, S. Artesian? It
sounds as chilling as tetric. And discouraging, certainly.
BTW, another reason why the Posadas group gained the nickname "voz
planetaria" was, besides their seriously calling the masses to greet
visitors on UFOs from the outer space because they HAD to be living in
socialist planets, their rather uglier welcome to a World War which
would end with capitalism, some kind of thermonuclear revolutionary war.
Your point above made me think of them.
