you probably mean Avital Leibovich (with the South-Slavian pronounciation,
like from Jugoslavia, not Leibovitz as from Germany or Poland)

I get the suspicion that this is not even true. I mentioned that I heard on
AlJazeera TV somebody from Gaza to report such a call in a phone interview,
but the suspicion creeps up that this may have been a staged disinformation.

Think about it: the Israeli military say they want to kill a senior Hamas
official by bombing his house, and phone his neighbors before doing it, so
that these neighbors can escape in time -- but they can also warn the
targeted family so that they can escape. This does not sound true.

So true is that the aggressor claims such warnings, as terrorist
organisations like the Basque ETA or the Irish IRA did, but if they really act
like they claim is more and more dubious to me.

Especially when you think about the three UNRRWA schools serving as
shelter for people driven from their homes were bombed in the past 24 hours.
