That's odd.  I thought Joaquin's description was best applied to the hordes 
of investment bankers, bond traders, financial advisors, corporate lawyers, 
hedge fund managers, that flood lower Manhattan night after night, bringing 
new meaning to "There goes the neighborhood."

Sign of the times, I'm sure, but my experience with railroad workers in 
Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas, most of whom were white, was far better-- most 
of them were far less childish, less self-satisfied, less arrogant and 
ignorant, than the urban vermin of finance capital.
