The SACP's long and continued support, if occasionally critical, for the neo-liberal, viciously anti-worker and anti-poor, ANC government means that they are beneath contempt. Now that there is a major capitalist crisis, they will talk a bit more left than before, but the chances of their breaking with the bourgeoisie are nil.

If there is any justice, the SACP leaders, along with those of the ANC and their white capitalist masters, will be fleeing for their lives from an enraged South African proletariat. Then, and only then, will we be able to say that apartheid has ended.
