I never attended, or even heard of, the Rogers Park Chess Club when I was living in Chicago in 1972 and 1973, so I don't know what their politics are. ;-)

Also, I'm not familiar with the "Aaron Aaron Revolutionary Proletarian Socialist Communist Correct Program Party". Maybe Mark can tell me more about it.

Moreover, at 04:04 -0700 2008/10/20, I wrote:

So I obviously do not use the term "centrist" very broadly. I consider Nader, McKinney and the Greens to be reformist, not centrist. I would probably classify the WWP and the SWP as centrist, although the latter has been so boring for the last 40 years that I haven't been able to keep up with its politics.

In any case, I use these terms as rough characterizations of the politics of these groups, not as a substitute for a thorough critique. I would, for examle, regard more favorably reformists who support Hasan Akbar and the Earth Liberation Front prisoners to self-styled "revolutionaries" who don't!

Mark Lause has shown himself to be totally uninterested in serious political debate, so my responses to him are meant for others on the list (and readers of the marxmail archives) who might take these issues seriously.
