  But the question his: how many more aircraft carriers does Sarkozy
  have under his command than the Pentagon, by whom he wants to be
  treated as equal?

  US power is not only based on being the one largest single national
  interior market in the capitalist world (until China takes over),
  but also the one disposing of the largest military power, the
  ability to blow up this world and all of humanity not only once, but
  many times over and for all.

  All the imperialist competitors of the USofA are dwarfs compared to
  the US, even considering the inability of the USofA to subjugate
  Iraq and Iran and Afghanistan and with them the whole of West and
  Central Asia.
