it is the military-industrial sector, and not the financial sector, that is

U.S.military industry until this time - and as an aside here, it will be
of interest to see how any loss of such leverage will affect American
state finances and therefore the finances of the military industrial sector.

If we are going to talk about sectors, then we need to know how we define
them and what makes them dominant.

What is meant by the military-industrial sector? Does that include GE which
derives a portion of its revenues from defense? If so do we adjust for the
portion?

Do we measure by capitalization, revenues, profits, contribution to GDP?

By any of those measures, the military, in military-industrial, can hardly
be described as dominant.

Contribution to GDP? Let's try housing-- app 10-11% b.c. (before collapse).

Profits, revenues? Let's try oil, QED.

Capitalization? Oil again maybe? Maybe not.

Might be interesting to compare the US and UK defense sectors specific
gravity in relation to their overall economies.
