[Marxism] "going through the experience" of Obama disillusionment

Louis wrote that "the debate that is going on now involves the left,
whether the self-identified Marxists like Carl Davidson that I am
going after or the liberal bloggers that Dennis Perrin likes to twit."
 Yes, and that had real meaning when an election campaign was going on
and people were paying attention.

However, as he says, "Why do we keep harping on what the tens of
millions of Obama voters think of what we say. They have probably
never heard of Counterpunch, Znet--let alone bloggers like me or
Dennis Perrin."  This discussion is going on in a rather narrow
circle.  How important the discussion is depends on how influential
that circle having it is.

When people are saying that we need to engage in a more vigorous
preemptive criticism of the Obama administration, I'd be much more
inclined to listen if they were offering an alternative in the real
world.  Something like mass antiwar demonstrations called and held in
the teeth of the elections.

So, who did that, eh?  And if they didn't, where's a better source to
expect such things?
