Why do we keep harping on what the tens of millions of Obama voters
think of what we say. They have probably never heard of Counterpunch,
Znet--let alone bloggers like me or Dennis Perrin.
The debate that is going on now involves the left, whether the
self-identified Marxists like Carl Davidson that I am going after or the
liberal bloggers that Dennis Perrin likes to twit.
In any case, the bloom is fading faster from the Obama rose quicker than
anybody could have predicted. Instead of getting something like FDR's
first hundred days, we are likely to get a continuation of what we have
seen over the past year or so. The U.S. military will continue to
slaughter Afghans. The Wall Street banks that financed Obama's campaign
will get bailouts while people are thrown out of their houses or nursing
homes. Thank god my mom passed on before she or I had to worry about
Medicaid cuts.
