[Marxism] "socialism now"

exactly when and how will we ever be able to say it?"
 
 
 
While we can say anything now, the key point is how many people are 
a- listening, and 
b- ready to join with us to take the next step. 
 
This is the fine line that I was alluding to, the Scylla and Charybidis of  
either following not leading, or leading with no one following.
 
I sympathize with the conundrum of whether or not to support an individual  
Black Democrat like McKinney who was fighting for the same things we  were and 
was opposed by her own party's machine, but where is the  line drawn so that a 
negative precedent is not established, one that can be  exploited across the 
board by opportunists or misunderstood by not too  sophisticated activists to 
support ALL Black  Democrats?
