Since we were discussing "the Gay-Marriage Debacle", which I took to mean the debacle of California's Prop. 8 and, perhaps, similar ballot issues in other states in the 4 November U.S. election, I assumed without thinking about it that Rohan was also talking about the U.S. when he brought up the police.

I'd be curious about the right to bear arms in other countries, including australia.
