[Marxism] Todd Gitlin on Obama

I remember an incident with Todd Gitlin during or before the 1991 U.S. assault on Iraq.

I was at an anti-war demo on the U.C. Berkeley campus and I saw Gitlin being interviewed for TV news. I went over and stood behind him with an anti-imperialist sign. He noticed me and freaked out, practically screaming that he didn't want to be associated with me or my sign. I don't know if my sign or the encounter ever made it to TV, but I did have the satisfaction of making that right-wing P.o.S. momentarily very uncomfortable.
