Conspiracy is a problems everywhere,
because conspiracies happen everywhere.

Crazy theories do abound, yet we should
be reluctant to smear all conspiracy
theories just because many of them are
crazy and all the others unprovable.

The secrecy that hides many conspiracies
makes confusion and doubt about who was
behind them widespread, and makes it easy
to dismiss all theories... while the
conspirators go uncaught.

I would not go so far as Richard Curtis does
in the following...

Yet, it would be foolish to dismiss all such
speculation by name calling and lumping all
such theories together. Consider that KRISTOF
is writing in the NY Times, which is running
its own propaganda conspiracy.

"...their behavior is so outrageously immoral that it is
difficult to believe that they are actually doing what
we know they are doing, and so when they lie
people are happy to believe them. Believing
the lies means one does not have to
do something about these moral outrages."

Perhaps we should remember that the official
theory about 911 is a conspiracy theory too.
A bunch of guys secretly planned the whole
thing. Which people did it is unknown. We
may never know who planned it, but we can
be sure it was a conspiracy... official
version or not.
