I thoroughly agree. This has really been clear for yonks - that Israel has
never had any intention of reverting to the partition of Palestine decided
by the UN in 1947 - which was the first, crucial mistake of UN - which
should have learned from the results of the partition of Ireland!!
Israel really needs to be treated as a parish state, akin to Apartheid South
Africa,
The only possible solution, though seemingly as, or even more remote, than
the ending of Apartheid SA in the 1950s, is for Palestine to be re-united as
a secular state in which Arabs and Jews (Jews who have for a considerable
period have domicile there - not for all the Jews of the world as the
Zionists have always intended) can live together - in what would then
really be a secular semitic state.
