Absolutely. The right of nations to
self-determination is an utterly bourgeois concept.

In Diana Johnstone's very fine book on Yugoslavia,
Fool's Crusade, she quotes the then deputy chairman of
the CDU/CSU Bundestag fraction, Rupert Scholz:

"German foreign policy is consistently and actively
committed to the universal application of the right of
self-determination."

and earlier:

"when individual nations are held fast in unwanted,
unnatural, or forced state organizations, this creates
everything but real stability."

Whether the object of destruction is the DDR or
Yugoslavia, the "right of nations to
self-determination" is the rallying cry of scoundrels.
